President's Welcome Message (2003)
Welcome Home! I am Artis Williams, President of the Carver-Stephens School Reunion Planning Committee. I am pleased to have been a part of the past seven, soon to be eight, reunions. Each year, I have found the reunions to be more enjoyable than the last and always wait in anticipation for the next. I must admit walking down memory lane isn't as painful as I thought it would be. I have found it to be quite humorous to reminisce back to what they now call "the good ole days." I hope that you too have waited with anticipation to come home and fellowship with your old classmates and friends. As we part ways, let us not forget the new friendships we've made or the old friendships that have been rekindled. Let us stay in touch as the days, months, and years roll by. I would also like to take this time to thank all of you for your support and suggestions that have made each reunion a success. I invite you to kick back, laugh, visit, and just have a down home good time. Once again, Welcome Home! |
